Even though Hurricane Ike took a westernly route, we still had some effects from the storm. The waves were really big (you might not notice in the photos) and the rip currents were dangerous! Poor Justin, who loves the water, wasn't allowed in any further than knee deep! Click on the photo to enlarge it and get a better idea on the actual size of the waves.
OMG!!! the waves don't look that big until you get a better look at the pictures. No way would I be in the water...but you know me, a chicken *@#$!!!! I think we have had enough activity from the Atlantic. Unfortunately Atlanta hasn't gotten much rain from all these systems, and we need it to pull us out of the drought. So, if we aren't going to get the rain, just go away!!! Good thinking huh?
Hello and welcome to my little blog, a Virtual Scrapbook, so to speak! Here you will see little peeks into our life. Feel free to leave comments and check back often. I am always updating and adding more adventure! Thanks for the visit! - - - Debbie (casacastes on SCS)
